21 Invest was awarded with the 2017 ESG Best Practices Honours organized by SWEN Capital Partners, in the Private Equity Mid & Large Cap category, in which four other nominees were shortlisted.

Held in Paris on June 22nd, the widely-renowned ceremony gathered more than 300 market players to reveal its highly-prized symbols of recognition across the private equity, debt and infrastructure world. Previous winners include reputed players such as PAI Partners, Eurazeo PME or Ardian.

The primary objective of this event is to share best ESG practices and to distinguish management companies that have shown an active and positive approach in the field of Responsible Investment, among more than 200 management companies worldwide, monitored and analyzed by SWEN Capital Partners.

The ESG Best Practices Honours winners were chosen by a selected panel of ten independent and highly qualified jury members such as OFI Asset Management, PRI or OECD. Jury members underlined the exemplary ESG practices of 21 Partners and noted the constant progress over the years.

Francois Barbier, Deputy General Manager & Cristina David, Director commented: "At 21 Invest, with Alessandro Benetton and Gérard Pluvinet, we have always been sensitive to ESG matters. We are very proud of this award that reflects our continuous efforts to implement the latest ESG practices at the management company level, and place ESG at the heart of our investment strategy. In Italy, France and Poland we invest in companies and accompany them in their growth while keeping ESG as a full part of the value creation plan.”
