About the investment
Conex is a leading European software solutions provider for customs procedures management, serving clients across the continent with mission-critical declaration and compliance platforms. At the time of 21 Invest's entry in September 2023, our approach was to build on the company's core strengths: a clear technological edge, a loyal and expanding client base, and significant headroom for European consolidation and cross-selling.

How we added value
Structuring the organization
Strengthened governance with a new leadership team, including Sales & Marketing, HR and an Executive Committee, supported by enhanced financial and commercial reporting.
Accelerating product innovation
Modernized the core software platform, upgraded e-commerce solution, and introduced Leo and Alba, two AI-native automation products.
Expanding across Europe
Completed the acquisition of Danish software specialist Lector in July 2024, prepare the geographical expansion organically in adjacent countries, thus creating new cross-selling opportunities and laying the foundations for a unified European platform.
