1992Alessandro Benetton founded 21 Investimenti in Treviso, becoming one of the pioneers of private equity in Italy.
1998Opening of first international office in Paris, marking the beginning of 21 Invest's European expansion.
2018The group was renamed 21 Invest, reflecting its evolution into a European investment company.
2024Launch of 21 Invest Healthcare, the group's first sector-focused fund, dedicated to human & animal healthcare well-being, marking a new chapter in focused, sector-driven investing.
2024Launch of activity in Spain to strengthen 21 Invest's presence in Southern Europe.
2025Launch of activity in Benelux.

Portfolio Management Director
Enrico Alfonsi joined 21 Invest in 2003 and he became Director of Portfolio Management in 2021. Prior to joining, he worked for 3 years at Deloitte Corporate Finance gaining significant experience in mid market transactions. He previously worked for Ernst & Young. Enrico Alfonsi is a Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Verona.
Alice Baldassari
Investor Relations
Alice Baldassari joined 21 Invest in June 2024, following approximately two years of experience at HOPE Sicaf where she served as CFO and a member of the Investment Committee. Previously, she worked in the structured finance department at Intesa SanPaolo and in the Deals division at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Alice graduated with honors in Management and Business Consulting from the University of Trento, with experiences at Imperial College London.
François Barbier
Managing Partner
François Barbier joined 21 Invest France since inception in 1998. Initially Member of the Board, he was appointed Deputy General Manager in 2017 and CEO in 2019. François Barbier holds a Masters Degree from Kedge Business School and is a member of the Société Française des Analystes Financiers (French Association for Financial Analysts).
Manuela Baruzzi

Manuela Baruzzi worked at 21 Invest from 2008-2017 and returned to the company in 2021 and is responsible for executive assistance.
Sveva Bellini
Associate
Sveva Bellini joined 21 Invest in June 2026. Previous, she worked for three years at Arcadia SGR, an Italian investment firm focused on the lower mid-market segment. Sveva holds a degree in Business Economics from Roma Tre University and a Master's in Economics and Business Legislation from Bocconi University in Milan.

Daniela Bellomo joined 21 Invest in 2004 and is responsible for executive assistance and organization of events. Prior to joining she worked as an executive assistant.
Alessandro Benetton
Founding Managing Partner
Alessandro Benetton, a pioneer of Italian private equity, in 1992 he founded 21 Invest, now part of 21 NEXT, of which he serves as Chairman. He has been Chairman of Edizione S.p.A. since 2022, one of Europe's largest holding companies. In 2023, he was appointed Honorary Chairman of Avolta Group and from March 2026, he became Chairman of Mundys. In 2025, with the support of Edizione, Mundys, and Aeroporti di Roma, he relaunched the Unhate Foundation as its Founder and Chairman.
He graduated with honours from Boston University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. After working as an analyst at Goldman Sachs, he led the Benetton Formula 1 team, which under his leadership won two drivers' world championships and one constructors' championship. In 2010, he was appointed Cavaliere del Lavoro. In 2018, he received the Kennedy Award and in December 2023, he was honoured with the Global Advocate of the Year Award by the United Nations Correspondents Association (UNCA) in New York.

Arianna Bresolin joined 21 Invest as a Front Office Assistant in 2023. She previously had international experiences, working in the United States.
Elena Caccin
Head of Marketing & Communications
Elena Caccin joined 21 Invest in April 2018 to work in Marketing & Communications. Prior to joining, she worked in the accounting department of a professional office. Elena holds a degree in Economics and Management and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Cà Foscari University of Venice.
Anita Cassagne
Leadership & Talent management
Anita has joined the team in March 2026 as Leadership and Talent management. She is a seasoned HR executive who has 35 years of international experience, including 20 years at Nestlé Group where she has built her career in leadership development, change management, talent & performance development, and executive leadership support across France and international markets. Anita holds a Master’s degree from Igensia RH and a Master of Business Coaching from International Mozaik.
Dorothée Chatain

Dorothée Chatain joined 21 Invest France in 2018 as Principal and was promoted to Partner in 2022 after 14 years of experience in Private Equity. Before joining the company, Dorothée was a Vice President at Cathay Capital, in charge of sourcing, investment management as well as investment support. She graduated from Audencia Business School and the American University in Washington D.C.

Francesca Colomba joined 21 Invest in 2008 in the accounting department. Prior to joining, she worked in the accounting department of various small and medium companies.
Alessandro Damiano

Alessandro Damiano joined 21 Invest as a Partner in November 2024, bringing over 12 years of private equity experience. Before joining, he led Italy's first healthcare-focused fund at Principia SGR. Prior to that, he worked at UBI Banca (now Intesa Sanpaolo) and a corporate finance boutique, gaining significant expertise in M&A transactions. Alessandro holds a degree in Economics and Commerce from Università Cattolica in Milan and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor.
Stefano De Rossi

Stefano De Rossi joined 21 Invest in June 2012 and became Principal in 2020. Prior to joining, he worked for five years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, first in the Audit division and then in the Corporate Finance department, gaining significant experience in M&A and IPO transactions. Stefano De Rossi holds a degree in Business Consulting from the Cà Foscari University in Venice.

Michele Fodde joined 21 Invest as a Principal in November 2024, bringing over 10 years of private equity experience. Before joining, he managed Italy's first healthcare-focused fund at Principia SGR. Michele holds a degree in Management with a specialization in private equity from Bocconi University in Milan.
Dino Furlan
Managing Partner
Dino Furlan joined 21 Invest in 1994 and he has worked with Alessandro Benetton for over 30 years. He experienced the full range of cycles in private equity and led the launch of 21 Invest’s private equity activity for institutional investors. He became Managing Partner in 2001. Prior to joining, he worked in the Finance Department of Fiat Auto in London. Dino Furlan holds a degree in Business Administration from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.

Massimo Galli joined 21 Invest in July 2024 as an Investment Manager. Prior to joining, he worked as Vice President at TriSpan’s London office, a private equity fund focused on the lower mid-market. Massimo holds a degree in Business Administration and Management and a Master’s in Business Economics and Legislation from Bocconi University in Milan.

Margherita Gasperi joined 21 Invest in October 2024. Previously, she worked at Bain & Company and Rothschild & Co (M&A). Margherita completed her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and, in 2022, her Master's degree in Administration, Finance, and Control from Bocconi University in Milan.

Baptiste Gaud joined 21 Invest France as Associate in 2020 and was promoted to Investment Manager in 2023. Prior to joining he spent 4 years as M&A Analyst and then M&A Associate at Nomura. Baptiste graduated from ESCP Europe and participated in the International Business program of the Trinity College in Dublin.

Julien Gautier joined 21 Invest France as Sustainability Officer in September 2022. Julien has been working on sustainability at PwC France for 4 years before specializing as a manager in Sustainable Finance. He developed expertise on issues such as Climate change, Human capital, Environmental and social impact in the value chain, and Diversity & Inclusion. Julien holds a master’s degree from SKEMA Business school.

Chiara Giomo joined 21 Invest in April 2023 in the Administration Office. Previously, she worked in accounting, administration, and personnel roles at local businesses and a professional studio. Chiara graduated in Statistical and Economic Sciences from the University of Padua.
Véronique Goutierre

Véronique joined 21 Invest as a Value Creation Officer in November 2024. Before joining the investment team, she was VP of Strategy & Operations on the executive committee of PlayPlay (FrenchTech 120). Prior to that, she held operational roles at Exclusive Networks and spent 5 years at the strategy consulting firm Bain & Company. Véronique holds a Master of Science degree from ESSEC.
Hadrien Jourdan

Hadrien Jourdan joined 21 Invest France in 2013. Prior to joining, he worked at KPMG Advisory as Senior auditor in the Transaction Services department after having served as Assistant Auditor in the Industrial sector. He previously worked at Credit Agricole Chevreux as Financial Analyst. Hadrien Jourdan holds a Masters Degree in Finance from the ESSEC Business School as well as an Engineering Degree in Agriculture from PURPAN school.

Laure Lagarde joined 21 Invest in 2024 and is in charge of Investor Relations. Previously, she worked at Reach Capital as Project Manager in charge of fundraising and strategic advisory for managers specialized in private investments. Laure holds a Master's degree from EDHEC Business School.

Céline Launay joined 21 Invest France in 1999 and is in charge of legal affairs. She holds a MSc in Business Law as well as a Diploma in Italian Law from Paris X University.

Prior to this she worked at Worldstrides in Boston and worked as a translator in the finance and banking sector. Sarah holds a degree in Italian and Anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Marco Mancuso joined 21 Invest in January 2021. Before joining, he gained six years of private equity experience at Wise Equity, an Italian lower mid-market investment firm. He began his career in corporate strategy at Bain & Company. Marco holds a degree in Management from Bocconi University and a Master in International Management from CEMS.

Andrea Mazzucato joined 21 Invest in 2003 and became Managing Partner in 2020. Prior to joining, he worked at Private Equity Partners and at ABN Amro in private banking and equity research. Andrea Mazzucato holds a degree in Business Administration from University of Padova after attending courses at Boston University and London School of Economics.

José Megía joined 21 Invest as Principal in July 2024. Prior to joining, he worked for 6 years at Charme Capital Partners, a pan-european private equity firm. Previously he also worked for KPMG in the Restructuring & Turnaround practice. José holds a degree in Business Administration from ESADE Business School in Barcelona.

Marco Millini joined 21 Invest in September 2023, following a 6-year experience at Innogest SGR, where he served as CFO and a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to that, he gained experience at Mid Industry Capital and at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Marco Millini graduated with honours in Business Economics and Legislation from the University of Pavia.

Michela Monego joined 21 Invest in 2001 and has been in charge of the accounting department since 2006. Prior to joining, she worked as an administration manager for a branch of the Bausch & Lomb Group and subsequently for the Luxottica Group.
Marco Monis

Marco Monis joined 21 Invest in 2001 and became Managing Partner in 2004. Prior to joining, he was a principal at KPMG Corporate Finance in Milan and London, where he worked for 4 years gaining experience on mid-market transactions. He began his career in the Administration and Finance department of two small companies based in the North-East of Italy. Marco Monis holds a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.

Guglielmo Orsatti

Guglielmo Orsatti joined 21 Invest in 2024 as Principal. Before joining, he gained more than six years of private equity experience, working over four years at Aksìa SGR, an Italian lower mid-market investment firm, and two years at PAI Partners, a pan-European large investment firm. He began his career in investment banking, working at Rothschild and Mediobanca. Guglielmo holds a BSc degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Pescara and a MSc degree in Accounting, Corporate Finance and Control from Bocconi University in Milan.

Stéphane Perriquet joined 21 Invest France in 2001, became Managing Partner in 2011 and was appointed Deputy General Manager in 2019. Prior to joining he spent five years at Siparex Private Equity after having worked as Financial Controller at BFI-IBEXSA, a European electronics component group, and as an Auditor at KPMG. Stéphane Perriquet graduated with a major in Finance from NEOMA Business School.

Stefania holds a degree with honors in Industrial Business Economics from Bocconi University in Milan and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor.

Nicolas Vagner

Nicolas Vagner joined 21 Invest in 2024 as Senior Advisor to the group's Investor Relations team. With over 15 years of experience in fundraising and advisory, he previously worked as a placement agent at UBS Private Funds Group and later at Lazard’s Private Capital Advisory Group, where he managed primary fundraising across EMEA. Prior to that, he was an M&A investment banker at Lehman Brothers in New York. Nicolas holds an MBA in Finance from the Yale School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from HEC Montreal.

Fabrice Voituron joined 21 Invest France in 2012, became Partner in 2016 and was appointed Managing Partner in 2019. Prior to joining he spent more than 10 years at Omnes Capital after having worked as an Analyst at CLAM Private Equity and BNP Cardif. Fabrice Voituron holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering from IAE Gustave Eiffel Paris XII.
