Our approach to sustainability

“A portfolio company’s growth depends not only on the quality of its products or employees – it also depends on the entire ecosystem surrounding it.”

Alessandro Benetton
Founding Managing Partner
A growing company fosters fertile ecosystems which in turn feeds back into the company generating sustainable, long-term growth. This social consciousness has always been part of 21 Partners’ DNA  and progressively has become an essential part of the value creation that we drive in the portfolio companies.

“Companies need to create shared value by developing profitable business strategies that deliver tangible social benefits.”

Michael Porter
Professor, Harvard Business School
Founder, Shared Value Initiative
The Shared Value Initiative launched by Michael Porter of the Harvard Business School is an expanding global community of leaders around the world who find business opportunities in social challenges.

21 Invest decided to partner with Michael Porter’s Shared Value Initiative because it is in line with its value creation strategy. In many cases, looking at an investment with a share value perspective allows to see new ways to change the trajectory of companies and boost growth.
