21 Concordia acquires majority stake in Wójcik Fashion, a leading Polish high-end childrenswear company

January 4, 2016

21 Concordia, the Warsaw-based, Polish branch of 21 Partners, has acquired a majority stake in Wójcik Fashion, a leading Polish high-end childrenswear company.

Founded by Ilona Wójcik in 1987, Wójcik manufactures and sells its products under three brands:
• Wójcik: a prime, well-known Polish brand comprised of casual clothing for boys and girls
• Ceremony: an exclusive collection offering outfits for special occasions
• Lady Diamond: designed for teenage girls, characterized by style and elegance for everyday use

In addition to a retail network of 7 proprietary and 30 franchise stores in Poland, Wójcik distributes wholesale in several countries including Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia and the UK. An entirely controlled, in-house production process allows Wójcik to offer some of the best designs and high quality products available on the childrenswear market.

Wójcik’s management team has been reinforced with the appointment of Robert Warnecki, a recognized and highly skilled clothing retail manager. He, alongside the company’s Founder, and with the full support of 21 Concordia, will accelerate growth by expanding Wójcik’s retail network, strengthening its e-commerce activity and further developing distribution outside of Poland. Wójcik’s efficiency will also be enhanced through additional appointments and structuring.

Dariusz Górka, Managing Partner with 21 Concordia commented: “Wójcik already benefits from an excellent market position and demonstrates a high potential for growth. We are looking forward to working with the company’s management team to bring Wójcik to the next stage of its development.

Ilona Wójcik, Founder of Wójcik, added: “We are convinced that with the support of 21 Concordia, a like-minded entrepreneurial investor, we will be able to continue growing our business both in Poland and abroad.

Having recently closed on €M 100, Wójcik is the third investment completed by 21 Concordia, following those in EGB, one of the most experienced and innovative companies in the Polish debt collection and receivables market and TxM, a leading discount clothing chain with over 300 stores in Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
